"What Are These Wounds?" Coloring Page

This coloring page features a young girl examining the print of a nail in the hand of the Savior after His resurrection. The young girl in this drawing has something of a pensive and sober look on her face and she considers the pain that the Savior must have felt to have nails placed through the palms of his hands.

As you share this coloring page with your children, it will probably not be readily apparent to them whose hand the girl is looking at. You will need to explain the significance of the nail print in his hand.

As you do so, consider how beautiful it would be for you to have the same experience yourself with the Savior. This can serve as a powerful reminder of the true source of all peace and happiness.

The title of this coloring page is taken from an obscure verse of scripture in the Old Testament: "And one shall say unto him, What are these wounds in thine hands? Then he shall answer, Those with which I was wounded in the house of my friends." (Zechariah 13:6)
